The Fox Lake Historical Society is housed in the old 1884 Milwaukee Road Depot. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Some of the displays include Indian Artifacts, and a model of Fox Lake’s unique railroad Loop & Junction. Buildings featured, include a working blacksmith shop, congregational Church, Sinclair Gas Station, and an early farm kitchen.
